First, let me wish everyone a happy spring break. It feels different this year since Covid restrictions have been lifted, though I’m hesitant to throw away my mask just yet. Now is the time to get out, enjoy the sunshine and embark on some outside activities.

Spring also kicks off festival season which started with South By Southwest (SXSW) in Austin last weekend. It will be great to see some live performances and enjoy the smells of fresh foods in the air. Whatever you are looking foward to this year have fun and enjoy the moments.

Bad Business Junior & La4ss – Missouri Loves Company

There was quite a few celebrations in St. Louis for 314 Day on Monday. As the theme for 314 Day evolves around our love for everything St. Louis. It is also a day of unity and in celebration of the unofficial holiday, rappers Bad Business Junior and La4ss decided to drop a new ep titled “Missouri Loves Company”.

The six song ep comes in just under 20 minutes with no guest features. Bad Business Junior & La4ss blend the sing-song style that once put St. Louis on map with there on personality and swag. The tracks that jump out to me on the project include “Voices” and the opening track “Blowing Money Fast”.

Tiana Major9 – Fool Me Once

Last year I caught wind of Tiana Major9 when she dropped the song “Same Space?“. This songstress who resides in the UK is an artist on the rise and watch. Just under a month ago Tiana released a song “2 Seater” with one of my favorite St. Louis artist, Smino.

After dropping a few songs over the last few weeks, Tiana decided to turn the songs into a four track ep titled “Fool Me Once”, that features the track with Smino along with the sultry sounding “Try Peace”. Tiana is gearing up for a major release which is slated to drop later this year. Until then you can listen to her latest project below.
