During, the off-season Armstead has made it his mission to mentor and guide youth through athletics and education. By way of the “Terron Armstead Foundation.” The football camp is designed to provide athletes with the latest speed techniques and emphasize the importance of teamwork, health education, and mentorship.

Armstead teamed up with NFL greats such as -Tyreek Hill, Tua Tagovailoa, Tariq Woolen, Marcus Williams, Tray Smith, Salvon Ahmed, Olympian Jackie Joyner-Kersee, and volunteer coaches rounded out this unique experience for the youth at his ninth annual football camp, and celebrity basketball game.

Over the weekend, Terron Armstead curated and hosted his first celebrity basketball game bringing celebrities to the heart of Illinois, his hometown of Cahokia. The event was a success and everything Armstead hoped for, the defining moment focused on 14-year-old Xavier Jones, an eighth grader who walked six miles to attend his graduation, and this caught the attention of Armstead.

“The real highlight was surprising Xavier Jones, the real star of the show – a kid who walked six miles to get to his graduation.

Thanks to my partnership with Ryan Pritchard Electric Bike, we were able to give Xavier an electric bike to make his commute a lot easier -we also surprised his family with a brand new van from Bommarito Automotive Group and Mr. John Bommarito.”

Armstead expressed his gratitude to Pritchard & Co EV, Bommarito Automotive Group, and John Bommarito for their generous donations, highlighting their role in transforming Xavier’s life and positively impacting his family.

Armstead spent 9-years playing with the New Orleans Saints and made his move to Miami to join the Dolphins where he is an offensive tackle wearing his signature #72.

During Armstead’s visit to his hometown in honor of his hard work and positive imprint on the community, his high school retired his jersey #52, and Cahokia Heights Mayor Mcall presented Armstead with the keys to the city.

Congratulations, to Terron and the Terron Armstead Foundation on all the hard work they are putting in, and we salute you for always putting the community first!
