Grown-ish Premieres This January!

Yara Shahidi is growing up on and off camera. The budding actress is back this January in Freeform’s new series, Grown-ish. Shahidi will be the lead role in the series, as her character Zoey embarks on her college journey. The new show is a spin-off from the ABC’s show, Black-ish. On Wednesday, January 3rd, Grown-ish will be premiering as we continue our journey with the Johnsons!

For four seasons, viewers watched as Shahidi entered and completed high school on Black-ish. Now as the actress transitions into college in real life, she will be portraying the role on television as well. The Harvard freshman will join Malia Obama at the prestigious school in the fall of 2018.

The show is scheduled to follow its predecessor that airs on Tuesdays. Be sure to tune in! Check out the trailer below.
