ZENOOBI -natural and eco-friendly

Why Organic?

Why use Organic and Eco-Friendly products?
While many products and companies claim to be “natural” and “organic” it is important to read the label for actual ingredients. Many of them contain some natural and organic ingredients but also have significant chemicals that are probably not suitable for your baby.
A lot of these products contain  phthalates, mineral oils, parabens, sodium lauryl sulphate, propylene glycol etc and are known carcinogens or toxins that affect the immune, reproductive, and endocrine system. Additionally the baby’s skin and growing cells are even more susceptible to these chemicals that can have long term impacts.
At Zenoobi we recognize that even if it costs more now, using chemicals and pesticides has long term costs, that are enormous and simply not sustainable.
Consider some of the negative impacts of cotton that is not organically grown. According to research studies, cotton is one of the dirtiest crops due to heavy use of pesticides. Cotton covers 2.5% of the world’s cultivated land yet uses 16% of the world’s insecticides, more than any other single major crop. Aldicarb, parathion, and methamidopho, used in growing cotton, are hazardous insecticides to human health as determined by the World Health Organization. Many of these chemicals will stay in our eco-systems poisoning the planet for generations.

The Earth existed before we arrived and will continue to exist long after we are gone. The Earth knows how to balance itself. It is not the Earth we need to worry about saving, it is preserving the quality of life for ourselves and for future generations…
