Stussy has gotten together with Japanese reggae sound system Mighty Crown, celebrating their 20th anniversary this year, as well as Mighty Crown’s apparel line Nine Rulaz, to create a capsule collection made up of varsity jackets and work caps. The jackets, available in three different colors, feature classic varsity styling with leather sleeves and wool body. Details include striped ribbing at the collar, waistband and cuffs, as well as felt patches down both arms and at left chest. An oversized patch and signature Stussy typography adorns the back. By comparison, the cotton work caps are subtly designed, bearing Stussy’s simple interlocking S logo on the front, with additional embroidered trademarks at the side and back. The collection is slated to hit Stussy Japan chapters on October 15th.
