On Sunday night, the world of Fashion and the love of Music collided. The 3rd Annual Red Winter Fashion Affair was the event of the city. The luxurious fashion show  took place at the equally lavished Rustic Goat Eatery & Lounge located Downtown-West St. Louis. As the crowd began to wave into the venue, 6 designers backstage readied their most fashion-forward pieces on models. 7 o’clock arrived and it was Showtime.

Dressed in a sleek and innovative black dress, the beautiful Hostess of the evening Whitney Shucks warmed the audience with a welcome to the festivities. Shortly after Whitney  introduced a dynamic performer, St. Louis’s own Gabby, to open the show. Of course the original song “Fashion Killa” was the start of a flaw. The first fashion line to hit the stage was Grade’ A Designs. The very sexy and feminine pieces received great feedback from the audience.

Next to dominate the runway was Dresscode Collektions. The designer emphasized the colors red, white, and black. Topping of the line with a Lil Diva as one of the models. Another performance by the recording artist Angelo Cortez entertained the crowd. Rebellious Designs and Ledivine Boutique shortly followed with their stylish designs.

Before a brief intermission, body paint art by Cory Lampkin amazed the audience. Intricate symbols of art were displayed and showed the appreciation of the woman’s physique. Local singer Shy Lynn performed 2 original songs and then graced the stage for her last number “XO” by Beyoncé. Brown’s Boutique, Jaylen, and Body Art by Nicce closed the Red Winter Fashion Affair Part III. As each designer returned to the stage for a final appearance, the reaction from the audience proved to be yet another successful year w promising many more to come.

Each designer, performer, model completely SLAYED!
