It’s Friday, and we got you covered with new music here on the last day of the month. Yes, Black Music Month has come to to an end; but the push for Black music does not stop. This week we have several releases from Lil Uzi Vert, Curren$y and Harry Fraud, Alchemist, and Terrace Martin. In addition to these releases there is plenty of new singles being added to my Enforcer Fridays’ Playlist that you can find at the bottom of this column. Be sure to have a fun and safe weekend, stay hydrated and say some kind words to someone in need.

Curren$y x Harry Fraud – Vices

Curren$y and Harry Fraud have linked up once again to bring you their new project Vices. The nine track project features guest appearances from Benny The Butcher, Larry June, Jim Jones, Rome Streets, Tommy Wright, G.T. and Vico. If you are familiar with Curren$y and Harry Fraud relationship then you know these two don’t miss. My favorite tracks from this project include “Marble Columns,” “Stingray,” and “Marcus Camby.”

Lil Uzi Vert – Pink Tape

It has been a couple of years since Philadelphia native Lil Uzi Vert dropped a project. The Pink Tape is Uzi’s latest offering and features the 2022 hit “Just Wanna Rock” that shot up the charts last year. The 26 song project includes guest features from Nikki Minaj, Travis Scott, Don Toliver, and BABYMETAL. The Pink Tape has a mixture of sounds from trap, rock, dance, and pop that should keep his streaming numbers high. Songs of interest you should check out include “Endless Fashion,” “Pluto Mars,” and “Mama I’m Sorry.”

Terrace Martin – Fine Tune

Terrace Martin is one of my favorite musical artist just in case you all did not know. Martin released his latest project Fine Tune as apart of his Sounds of Crenshaw label. For those not familiar or new to Terrace Martin he is responsible for production on Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly along with several other artist projects including Snoop Dogg, Travis Scott, Stevie Wonder and more. That said Martin’s sounds range from jazz, soul, hip hop and much more and that is why I will recommend this for your listening pleasure. Make sure you check out “Degnan Dreams” featuring St. Louis very own Keyon Harrold.

Alchemist – Flying High

Alchemist is having another stellar year, and his latest offering Flying High speaks to the success he has been having. After dropping one of raps album of the year contenders The Great Escape earlier this year with Larry June, Alchemist stays consistent with his signature sound. The eight track project features 4 songs accompanied by the instrumentals for you hip hop heads who love rapping over beats.

Domo Genesis – Red Corola

Domo Genesis has released 2017’s Red Corola to streaming platforms.
