Opening today in London, the MONIKER International Art Fair steps away from the conventional art fair and opts to include and indeed concentrate on those artists overlooked by other British art fairs, but acclaimed by museums and art institutions elsewhere in the world. Accordingly, MONIKER have generated an impressive line-up of artists including: Steve Powers, Polly Morgan, Swoon, Ben Eine, Herakut, and Banksy. Matching the artistic line up, the list of participating galleries is equally as impressive and includes: Black Rat Press, London; Circleculture, Berlin; Carmichael Gallery, Los Angeles; Anonymous Gallery, New York City; Campbarbossa, London; New Image Art, Los Angeles; Choque Cultural, Sao Paulo; Galleria Patricia Armocida, Milan. All those interested should note that the fair is set to close after just four full days, on October 17.
