“The Dating Game” stage play is a contemporary comedy set in modern day. This comedy deals with aspects of many dysfunctional relationships. You have one couple dealing with social retardation at its worst, another dealing with an extreme lack of affection and then there is the troubled marriage looking to rekindle the flame as it was when they first started dating and lastly the self-absorbed person who doesn’t know how to bond in a relationship. The center of each character’s relationship is the hilarious revelation that comes about in their sessions with their self-proclaimed life coach who could use a few sessions of her own. The Dating Game is sure to leave you believing in love again; but not without a hilarious side-splitting reality check!

 

 

CHRYS YVETTE – EXECUTIVE PRODUCER / WRITER / DIRECTOR / ACTRESS

 

If one were to look up the word innovative in the dictionary, they would without a doubt, find a picture of Chrys Yvette. For over 15 years the St. Louis native has been making a mark for herself in the entertainment industry as an actress, writer, producer and director.

While majoring in Fine Arts at Clark Atlanta University, Chrys was able to get an early start in the business by initially producing several touring stage plays and independent films.  Although having etched a permanent place in the entertainment scenes of Atlanta, she would eventually migrate to Los Angeles, California. Chrys would immediately become a mover and shaker among independent filmmakers. In an effort to enhance the knowledge she gained in Atlanta, Chrys would eventually work at Fox Studios as an Assistant to Program Executive Chase Carey and in the Executive Offices of the Director’s Guild of America (DGA) assisting Marcelle Giacusa.

Chrys would go on to participate in coordinating some of Hollywood’s biggest events such as the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival (LAIFF) and the Directors Guild of America Awards Ceremony in 2000, in which Steven Spielberg was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award.

As a result of her bold, no holds barred style of writing, directing and producing Chrys is becoming one of the most sought after individuals in Hollywood.
