Sterling K. Brown is on a meteoric rise and we couldn’t be happier!

Lately, the This Is Us star has been seen everywhere. Whether he’s starring is NBC’s hottest new show, or making appearances in Marvel’s Black Panther, the forty-something actor doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.

On Tuesday, Brown announced on his Twitter page he would be hosting Saturday Night Live. A month ago, Twitter fans requested Brown be the iconic show’s next host, and it seemed it worked.

Although, we are excited for two-time Emmy-award winning actor, he seemed to be more ecstatic than everyone else.

Brown took to Twitter to record a short video with him imagining the thrill of hearing his named announced during the show’s famous opening sequence.

In the video clip, he stares at himself in a mirror. “Live from New York it’s Saturday Night Live with your host, Sterling K. Brown,” he says, mimicking the late “SNL” announcer Don Pardo.

After he finished, he turned the camera on himself to express his gratitude for being chosen for the show.

“This is truly a dream come true. I’ve watched @nbcsnl since I was a baby. To finally get to host is one of the more surreal moments of my life, but it’s gonna be awesome,” Brown tweeted.

Brown is scheduled to host on March 10 at 8 p.m. Be sure to tune in and watch!
