St. Louis gourmet popcorn company calls on the community to shop local June 5–7 during a three-day POP-A-THON campaign.
In just a few short years, Pop Pop Hurray has become more than a popcorn company. Since launching in 2020, the locally owned business has grown into a recognizable St. Louis brand, serving customers across the region while creating jobs, supporting nonprofits, partnering with schools and hospitals, and investing back into the community.
Now, Pop Pop Hurray is inviting the community to help write the next chapter of its story.
From June 5–7, 2026, the company will host its first-ever POP-A-THON, a three-day community rally designed to encourage residents to shop local, support small businesses, and help sustain the company’s operations and workforce.
The campaign’s message is simple: Buy a bag. Share the love. Support local.
A Mission Bigger Than Popcorn
Like many small businesses across the country, Pop Pop Hurray has faced the realities of rising costs, economic uncertainty, and the challenges of maintaining growth while continuing to serve the community. The POP-A-THON was created as a way to bring customers, supporters, and local advocates together around a shared mission—helping preserve jobs, maintain storefront locations, and continue building opportunities throughout the region.
For three days, supporters are encouraged to visit any of Pop Pop Hurray’s locations, purchase their favorite flavors, spread the word on social media, and encourage friends and family to participate.
