While I am a huge fan, this year’s choice has been met with the usual naysayers. There are some rather comedic responses to marsala. Here are a few select words from the internet’s analyses today: “Farm-to-table cuisine, bushy-but-coiffed beards.” Kylie Jenner’s lipstick of choice. “The exterior of a car or a bit of jewelry evoking the 1950s.” “Olive Garden” and “ordering Tampax in bulk.” For us, it’s just boxed wine.”
