We back for another week of Enforcer Fridays with my favorite selections for you to check out. This week we have Nikki Minaj dropping her follow-up to her debut Pink Friday, and veteran emcees Blu and Nottz dropping their latest collaboration. Plus I have several new singles that I will be adding to the playlist so make sure you go listen to that today.

Nikki Minaj – Pink Friday 2

In a time not so long ago, Nikki Minaj hit the music scene by storm with her debut album Pink Friday . It was the first time since Eve dropped her first two solo projects that a woman had sold a million units. Nikki’s dominance and influence on a generation of barbies (Nikki’s fan) showed the hip hop world that women definitely have a space. With artist like Cardi BCity Girls, Megan Thee Stallion, Rapsody and Sexyy Red women have garnered the success of their male counterparts.

It has been 5 years since Nikki Minaj dropped her last project Queen in 2018. Her latest album is the follow up from her classic debut Pink Friday. If times tells us anything it will suggest this album will do huge numbers seemingly since her other 3 projects have all done a million or more. This album will serve a tipping point for the hip hop genre whose numbers have been down considerably this year.

Pink Friday 2 features an array of artist from Drake, Lil Wayne, J. Cole, Future, and several others. Expect a balance of solid production and witty wordplay from her latest efforts. Let me know what you think of the album, is it a no skip album from one of the queen’s of rap?

Blu & Nottz – Afrika

Blu and Nottz have hooked up for their third collaboration project Afrika. Centered around themes from African nations these two look to educate and entertain on their latest project. Guest features on the project include Mickey Facts, Quelle Chris, Cashus King, and several others including St. Louis very own Black Spade.

Tems – Not An Angel

Tems has been revving up the stakes recently with her single “Me & U .” Now she has returned with her latest single “Not An Angel” that just dropped today. We can’t until the video drops for this!!!

Benny The Butcher – One Foot IN feat Stove God Cooks

In anticipation of his new album Everybody Can’t Go dropping in January, Benny The Butcher has released his latest single “One Foot In” featuring Stove God Cooks.
