We are officially at the halfway point of September and I got a few new picks for you all to add to your catalog. This week we have new releases from Nas, Rod Wave, Cleo Sol, Diddy, plus several new singles added to the playlist including Sexyy Red and Lil Durk’s new song “Hellcats SRTs 2.” As I have stated in the past for continuity I have selected a few projects that I think may be of interest to your listening pleasure.

The 6th Annual FrizzFest will take place in Tower Grove Park

Second, this week in St. Louis we have another dope festival taking place. Saturday in Tower Grove Park FrizzFest returns for their sixth annual natural beauty festival. The festival was created “to encourage self- love and inspire confidence among women,” has continued to grow and will have national recording artist Mya headlining the event this year..

Nas – Magic 3

Nas announced earlier this week that he would be dropping Magic 3 on his birthday September 14th. The Queensbridge emcee also announced that Magic 3 was the last project him and Hit – Boy would be doing, ending their 6 album run over the last three years. As they say, good things come to an end but hopefully this will not stop this dynamic duo from dropping singles.

Rod Wave – Nostalgia

Rod Wave is back with a 18 track project titled Nostalgia. This is the fifth album from Rod Wave since his debut album Pray 4 Love dropped in 2019. Those familiar with Wave know that his music often touches on emotional topics from his past. Nostalgia features one lone guest appearance from 21 Savage on “Turks and Caicos.”

Cleo Sol – Heaven

British singer Cleo Sol has released her third album Heaven today. The 9 track project is full of soulful head bobbin melodies that will have you vibing all day. The production on the album is overseen by Inflo, Cleo Sol’s husband, who has worked with Little Sims and Sault. My favorite tracks on the album include the intro song “Self,” “Old Friends, and “Love Will Lead You There.”
