15 Shot, One Stabbed in Violent Night in St. Louis City

3006-saint-louis-skylineST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – St. Louis City police are handling an incredibly violent night in the city. Fifteen people were shot in five different incidents.
One man is fighting for his life after he was stabbed multiple times.
The 15 shooting victims include four teenagers. Miraculously, all of the victims are expected to survive. There are no suspects in any of the shootings. The violence started around 10:30 p.m. Monday night at Highland and Marcus in North St. Louis were five people were shot, including those four teenagers from 13 to 17 years old. A 34-year-old woman was also shot.
All of the victims were outside a home when they say all of a sudden they heard gunshots then realized they had been hit.
In the next hour and a half, six other people were shot — four on Aubert in North St. Louis, one in South St. Louis during an attempted robbery and another on North Broadway.
Finally, a little after 1:00 a.m, police say five more people were shot with an AK47 on Warren in North St. Louis. Initially homicide detectives were called in but now police expect all of those victims to survive.
Officials say all of the victims in that case were outside a home when shots rang out.
Also around 1:00 a.m., someone was stabbed along South 38th and Meramec in South St. Louis. It’s unclear how badly the victim was hurt, but homicide detectives have been called in to investigate. In this case, police are looking for a ‘known suspect.’
