Born and raised in Atlanta, Lawrence Roebuck knew from a young age that he wanted to make a positive impact on the world. He initially pursued a career as a barber and quickly gained a reputation for his exceptional grooming skills. However, as he worked with clients, Lawrence realized that many of them struggled with issues related to their overall health and wellness.
This realization inspired Lawrence to become a certified personal trainer, and he began combining his skills as a barber with his expertise in fitness. In 2011, he founded ACE 360 Fit, a wellness center that offers a unique combination of grooming and fitness services.
For Lawrence, the connection between grooming and fitness is clear. “Taking care of your body is not just about exercise and eating right,” he explains. “It’s also about taking care of your appearance and feeling good about yourself.” Lawrence believes that when people look good, they feel good, and that positive self-image can translate into a healthier lifestyle.
During Stress Awareness Month, Lawrence is especially passionate about spreading the message of self-care. He knows firsthand how stress can impact a person’s physical and mental health, and he believes that taking care of oneself is essential for managing stress.
“Stress is a natural part of life, but it doesn’t have to control us,” Lawrence says. “By taking care of our bodies and minds, we can learn to manage stress and live happier, healthier lives.”
Lawrence Roebuck’s Tips for a Healthier Lifestyle
- Make time for exercise. Lawrence recommends finding a form of exercise that you enjoy and making it a regular part of your routine. “Exercise is one of the best ways to manage stress,” he says. “It releases endorphins that can help boost your mood and reduce anxiety.”
- Prioritize sleep. “Sleep is essential for both physical and mental health,” Lawrence says. “Make sure you’re getting enough restful sleep each night to help your body recover and recharge.”
- Practice mindfulness. Lawrence recommends incorporating mindfulness practices into your daily routine, such as meditation or deep breathing exercises. “Mindfulness can help you stay present and focused, which can be especially helpful during stressful times,” he says.
- Take care of your skin. As a barber, Lawrence knows the importance of good grooming habits. “Taking care of your skin is essential for both your appearance and your overall health,” he says. “Make sure you’re using quality products and taking the time to properly care for your skin.”
