Welcome the “New Cutie On the Block” – 22yr old fresh-faced Elle Varner on the new RCA Records label.
Her breakthrough single, “Only Wanna Give It to You” featuring J-Cole, is an ode to wanting her man more than a new pair of shoes. The song samples the hip hop classic “Make the Music With Your Mouth” from Biz Markie and surprisingly compliments her jazzy vocals.
Her album, Perfectly Imperfect, due out later this year, promises to bridge the gap between classic hip hop and rock, and provide a fresh new sound to current music scene.
