Brooklyn based artist Brian Donnelly and his namesake KAWS have placed his signature X’s everywhere. He placed them over Homer Simpsons, Spongebob’s and Mickey Mouse’s eyes as well as crafting dozens of large scale sculptures globally, but he has never made a Light Bulb, Oh wait, he just did! In an effort to construct visually appealing light bulbs for the Standard Hotel, Brian decided to replace the typical filaments in the bulbs and replaced them with his signature X’s.The dim 3-watt bulbs come in three colors (Red, Purple and Green) and are up for sale for as a limited edition set of the 3 colors for $65 at Standard Hotel retail shops and online.
