Well it looks like Hollywood has been bitten by the reboot bug too!

It’s been more than 10 years since Rush Hour 3 was released and it seems Chris Tucker has confirmed the rumors. The comedian will join his long-time co-star, Jackie Chan in Rush Hour 4.

The comedic duo will return in their roles as L.A. Police Detective Carter and Hong Kong Police Detective Inspector Lee. Tucker recently appeared on a ESPN’s podcast, “The Plug” where he confirmed the rumors.

“It’s definite. It’s happening. This is going to be the one. The rush of all rushes,” the actor stated. “Jackie is ready, and we want to do this so that people won’t ever forget this.”

The anticipation began building back in October 2017, when Chan hinted to the movie’s return during a radio interview. “Before we get old, I tell Chris Tucker, before we get old, please do the Rush Hour 4,” Chan said.

After years of turning down scripts, the actor stated they finally agreed on one. Despite needing a script, Tucker’s confirmation was still pending.

Although, no official release date has been given, we’re excited this classic film will be returning to the big screen soon!
