Prime 55 offers a fine dining experience on two levels. It provides a sexy ambiance and two full bars on both the upper and lower levels. The lower level features a full sports bar with numerous TV’S. Prime 55 is a perfect date-night worth eatery, with its sexy vibe, that offers American Cuisine with a touch of Creole favorites as well as vegetarian and vegan options.
The naming of the restaurant and its owner’s mission is one of the same, “Prime”, the best in quality and “55”, Five, is a significant and powerful number “times 2” equals all the more so, symbolizing freedom, exploration, and an out-with-the-old, in-with-the-new attitude.
The menu features an urban infusion of seasonal elements, simply crafted, and perfectly grilled to your preference. Starters will include a Cajun kale soup and numerous salads. Other starters will include crab cakes, wings and lobster fries.
Chef Larry Shelton Jr. has created an assortment of entrees including Veggie Burgers, Lamb Chops, Lobster Tails, Tempura Lobster, Chargrilled Rib-eye, Blackened Sweet Chili Salmon and a grilled cauliflower steak with mushrooms, carrots, confit tomatoes and preserved Meyer lemons. Also, expect surf and turf, Cajun chicken pasta, Hawaiian grilled shrimp and Creole chicken with mushrooms /white rice.
