First let me start off by saying Happy Birthday to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on what would have been his 92nd year around the sun. In these trying times it’s hard to imagine what Dr. King would say if he was here. As we get set to inaugurate president-elect Joe Biden, and vice-president elect Kamala Harris our country turns to our leaders for answers of healing and restructuring the political landscap, we could stand to here from Dr. Kings’ messages.

ASIAHN- the interlude

The first month of the year there is always a scarcity of releases, but nevertheless I have a found a few releases you should check out this week. Asiahn pronounced “Ahh-zee-yahn” is a rising artist from South Carolina who has written songs for the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull, Drake, Lil Wayne, and Dr. Dre. This songstress is full of smooth melodies, and good vibes as she loves to tell stories with her music. Her Ep “The Interlude” is the third installment of her series “Love Train”.

Nick Caution – Anywhere But Here

Nyck Caution is here with his debut “Anywhere But Here”. A member of Joey Badass Pro Era crew, you can be sure the expectations for having superb bars is a must. Nyck Caution is a throwback to that 90’s boom bap, with a mix of current vibes production that you can hear in today’s hip hop. Caution’s guest features on the album include Joey Badass, Denzel Curry, Flatbush Zombies’ Erick The Architect, Kota The Friend, and CJ Fly.
