I’m feeling rejuvenated after taking a unannouced week off thanks to the lack of new music last week. This Friday albeit, we have several artist releasing new music from Don Tolliver, Key Glock, King Crooked & Joel Ortiz, along with several new singles. As you know, I will be giving you my picks of the week so make sure you follow the playlist below or click here.

Don Oliver – Love Sick

Don Tolliver is back with his third studio album Love Sick. Tolliver’s popularity rose a few years ago with his viral hit “Lemonade” hit the charts. Over the last few years Tolliver has become known for his catchy hooks and ability to lace melodic tracks that few have success doing.

Tolliver’s latest work is a continuation of his previous work with a more polished sound. The guest features on the album include James Blake, GloRilla, Kali Chis, Justin Beiber, Wizkid, Future, Lil Dirk, Charlie Wilson, Brent Faiyaz, TisaKorean, and Toro y Moi. Standout tracks on the project include “Private Landing,” “Let Her Go,” “Slow Motion” and “Bus Stop”.

Kxng Crooked & Joell Ortiz – JFKLAX

Since Kxng Crooked and Joell Ortiz announced their split from Slaughterhouse, the two rappers have been busy dropping projects. Their latest project JFKLAX is Crooked and Ortiz doing what they do best which is rap. My favorite tracks on the project include “Stay Dangerous,” “Dodgers,” and “Friend or Foe”.

Key Glock – Glockoma 2

Key Glock has been holding it down for his former label mate boss and fallen rapper Young Dolph. Glock is back with a new project Glockoma 2, this is the follow up to 2018’s Glockoma. Key Glock has been holding it down for his former label mate boss and fallen rapper Young Dolph. Glockoma 2 offers up 15 songs including two previous released singles “Dirt” and “Work”.

Conway The Machine x Sauce Walka x Juicy J – Super Bowl

In what may seem like a odd pairing of Conway the Machine, Sauce Walka and Juicy J has turned into a song worthy of adding to your playlist this week.

We Are Root Mod (Featuring Keyon Harold & Ithinkitsbbp) – This That N’The Third

Hailing from my hometown of St. Louis with new music is We Are Root Mod. A Hip Hop/R&B band that has been making a name for themselves with their grooves has teamed up with Keyon Harold and Ithinkitsbbp for their new single “This That N’The Third”.
