This weekend St. Louis will be front and center thanks to Music at the Intersection. Starting in 2021, the two day festival celebrates St. Louis’s contribution to the music, culture, and artist rich heritage across the American songbook ranging from hip hop, r&b, jazz, blues and rock and roll. This year theme at Music at the Intersection is centered around Hip Hop ‘s 50th’s anniversary with Smino headlining Saturday evening. Other notable acts on the bill include Grandmaster Flash, Keyon Harrold with Pharoahe Munch, Blvck Spade & The Cosmos and many more.

38 Spesh x Conway The Machine

Over that last few weeks 38 Spesh and Conway The Machine have dropped a couple of singles in anticipation of their new project Speshal Machinery, out today. This album will appeal to those hard core rap fans from the 90’s who enjoy the headbobing beats and lyrical wordplay. The 10 song project guest features include Lloyd Banks, Elcamino, Benny The Butcher, Emanny, Che Noir and Pharoahe Monch.

Keyon Harrold – Find Your Peace

Keyon Harrold new single “Find Your Love” featuring Common, Robert Glasper, and Jean Baylor is up for streaming just in time for his performance this weekend at Music at the Intersection. This songs comes on the cusp of his new release Foreverland that is scheduled to drop in a few months.

Blvck Spvde and the Cosmos

Some may refer to him as the ‘Godfather of underground hip hop in St. Louis.’ St. Louis artist Blvck Spade has been influencing the hip hop culture here for many years. Performing at Music at the Intersection, Blvck Spvde and The Cosmos will hit the stage debuting their new single “Doom” along with some new unreleased music for our ears.
