Bad Girls” rapper M.I.A. is the newest member of Roc Nation’s management family. M.I.A. joins the long list of artists who want to be a part of Jay-Z’sRoc army.
Roc Nation announced today that the “Paper Planes” rapper signed a management deal with Roc Nation. M.I.A. even received a warm welcome from Rihanna who tweeted:
M.I.A. and Rihanna partied it up over the weekend when the whole Roc Nation family partied for Ty Ty’s 40th birthday party in London.
Other artists on Jay-Z’s Roc Nation management include Meek Mill, Wale, Rihanna, The Ting Tings, Shakira, Melanie Fiona, Santigold, Mark Ronson, Samantha Ronson, Solange Knowles, and Ester Dean.
M.I.A.’s forthcoming album Matangi is expected to hit store shelves Fall 2012.
