Fashion is whatever you want it to be. I don’t believe there are any boundaries; like in any form of art. Â – Leland Lambert
From the runway to the big screen, St. Louis’s own Leland Lambert has certainly captured his dreams and turned them into a reality. With a strive of determination and constant humility, Leland’s journey is like a story straight out of a movie. Model, Actor, and Brand ambassador are all titles added to his resumĂ© .
Growing up, becoming a model was never in Lambert’s initial plan. After years of being encouraged to give it a shot, in the summer of 2014; an opportunity arose. Shortly after, Leland was cast in his first runway show. Still skeptical about his leap of faith, he felt the opportunity was only a once in a lifetime experience . Receiving a considerable amount of positive feedback and recommendations to other castings, Lambert’s decision to start a career in the industry succeeded.
Right away, Leland’s work established himself as one of the most recognizable male models throughout St. Louis and the Midwest area, while another talent began to manifest. With modeling quickly came notable networking, bridging his platform to pursue acting. Landing a spot on the prominent network NBC’s Chicago P.D., Leland has a recurring role of a cop.
Locally, the model/actor is continually working on projects including an upcoming independent film “Something To Prove” coming to Netflix fall 2017. He was recently featured in fashion shows sponsored by Lexus and Mercedes-Benz, catalog work for Enterprise Brand, and an editorial spread in St. Louis’s Gazelle Magazine July issue.
To celebrate this editorial, join the model this Saturday at Hiro in Downtown St. Louis. Leland presents “A Night in Hollywood” with the entire experience. Red carpet, paparazzi, and much more. Guest-list includes MTV’s Garland Brown, Hip Hop Artist Silent Que, and live coverage from Ethno NightLife’s Rob Ruger.
Leland, Continue to make our city proud.
