B.O.B. Swings My Way
by: Heather Blunt
We all can agree: we’ve been waiting to see who would take the chance to remake the 90’s summertime classic “Swing My Way” by K.P. and Envyi. Although the single was released in February 1998, it seemed to play most when it was hot and everybody had that summertime feel. Pools and barbecues… windows down while riding… you know that feeling.
Well, here we go. B.O.B took a chance and nailed it. Featuring Sevyn Streeter on the hook, B.O.B.’s got major skills on the verses while Sevyn puts a little twist on the refrain. “Swing My Way” is featured on the soon-to-be-released mixtape, No Genre Part 2, which will be available July 9th. It’s a great remake to a classic track.
