The 2022 Delux Power 100 honored the best in St. Louis and abroad on December 18th, surely a night to remember. What better way to end the Gala season than with a finale from 100 of the most influential and inspiring leaders coupled with the best professionals of our generation.

What is the Delux Power 100? Well, it’s a yearly award ceremony at the end of the Gala Season, held by Delux Magazine to acknowledge those who lead, inspire, innovate and demonstrate, through their talents, the very best in our region.

Tammie Holland hosted the ceremony from the Chase Park Plaza Khorassan Ballroom in St. Louis, dishing out jokes between categories and keeping the show moving as viewers were treated to an epic video from Abbott Elementary star and Distinguished honoree William Stanford Davis, notable acceptance speeches by media great such as Art Holiday and film vet LaRoyce Hawkins, and a memorable tribute for the excellent Cora Faith Walker delivered by the City of St. Louis the honorable Madam Mayor Tishaura O Jones, who was one of Cora’s closes friends.

Taking home the most covenant award, “Delux Power 100 Distinguished” was shared with eight Powerful remarkable trailblazers (William Stanford Davis, Elinor F. Hancock, LaRoyce Hawkins, Art Holiday, Shameem Clark Hubbard, Cassandra Ray, Dana Tucker Redwing, and Reuben Shelton III, ESQ.) at the 5th installment of Delux Power 100. 

Larry Blue welcomed our Power 100 honorees’ to the Power Circle, and having each category introduced by our amazing sponsors was first class; those sponsors included Legal Solution Group, Player Management Group, Holland Law, Harris-Stowe State University, Attorney Wesley Bell, and Regional Art Commission.

Stars took over the red carpet in glamorous looks ahead of the show. Supermodel and honoree Madison Rian, and the first African-American face for Armani, made a statement in a scarlet gown by luxury fashion house Willia Murphy. As he walked the red carpet, founder and owner Keith Griffin II of Delux Magazine and Power 100 also had a standout style moment in a custom tuxedo by Tailored Gents Custom Clothiers. The Leather & Fur Centre ensured guests graced the red carpet in their finest fur; thank you, John and Tiara Hanlon. 

Honorees, including Cara Dillard, Harris Stowe University presenter, President Dr. LaTonia Collins Smith, Distinguished Honoree Elinor F. Hancock, and Alderwoman Shameem Clark Hubbard, embraced sequins and metallic styles. At the same

time, Honoree Keisha Lee and Porsha Key donned gowns with unique cutouts tailored in soft mikado. Uncle Nearest rolled out the VIP carpet with a private lounge for all the honorees and served their specialties for our amazing one hundred. 

Delux Power 100 rounded out the night with a special presentation and proclamation from both Mayor Tishaura O Jones from the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County Executive Sam Page, which was presented to Jami Dolby for all of the courageous hard work that she has put forth for the citizens of St. Louis and Missouri. We salute you, Jami, and thank you for all you do.
