DELUX's Favorite 2018 Met Gala Looks

Known as the Oscars of the East Coast—the Met Gala is an annual charity gala most would say is all about the fashion. On the first Monday in May, stars walk the red carpet with their interpretations of the event theme with beautiful hair, makeup looks, and of course—the attire.

The fashion event’s was put on by its co-chairs Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour along with Rihanna, Amal Clooney and Donatella Versace.

This year’s theme was, “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination,” which gave each celebrity an opportunity to exhibit their version of angelic looks in front of the cameras.

Everything from form fitting gowns to literal interpretations filled the Metropolitan Museum of Art Institute. Celebrities like Rhianna, Katy Perry, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Chadwick Boseman took the catholic portion of the theme to new heights. Other celebs like Kim Kardashian, JLo, and Janelle Monae gave more form fitting displays of the event’s theme.
