For one night, the 1500 block of Washington Avenue will transform into a runway, with the avenue’s iconic brick zipper design serving as the centerpiece. The event will feature a curated roster of established designers, emerging talent, and student collaborators, showcasing the innovation and creativity that runs through every Siba program, including Fashion Development & Merchandising, Business Administration, Interior Design, and Graphic Design.

This is more than a fashion show. It is a celebration of St. Louis’ design heritage and a statement about its future as a creative and cultural hub. Our pre-show mixer and open house at Siba’s campus will welcome the community to see how a nearly 80-year-old institution continues to evolve, innovate, and prepare students for industry success.

Why this story matters:

  • A historic setting reimagined: Bringing a fashion runway to Washington Avenue honors the Garment District’s legacy while breathing new life into downtown.
  • Cross-disciplinary creativity: Siba’s unique combination of programs allows for a full-scale production designed entirely in-house—from runway looks to event marketing, guest experience, and stage design.
  • Industry-led production: With my background as a fashion editor, educator, and event producer, I’m bridging education and industry to create a professional-level experience in an academic setting.

The event is free with RSVP, with check-in starting at 5:30 PM, the show beginning at 6:30 PM, and a 3:30 to 5:30 PM pre-show mixer and open house.
