Is it me are does it seem like August has gone by quickly? It is already the last Friday of the month and we have several releases to talk about from Sauce Walka to Terrance Martin and James Fauntleroy. We also have several new singles I’ve added on Enforcer Friday’s playlist plus new additions to my St. Louis Rising playlist.

St. Louis Rising

NandoSTL – On Errthang

As St. Louis has increasingly come under the eye of the music world thanks to Sexy Redd’s hit “Pound Town”. Another St. Louis rising artist NandoSTL has been working to continue that narrative on the ripe and robust St. Louis music scene. Having adopted the acronym (STL) on his stage name, Nando makes it clear that St. Louis got something to say with his latest visuals “On Errthang.”

Jordan Ward – moreward (Forward)

Jordan Ward has released a deluxe version of his debut album Forward. The deluxe version features 3 new songs which include “Mustard,” featuring 6lack, “Zoomies,” and “Webbie,” featuring Easton Fitz. This has been a big year for Ward as he has been on tour with Smino earlier this year and 6lack over the last couple of months.

Morgan Taylor – Sucka 4 U

Morgan Taylor is a young aspiring artist who influences stem from the 90’s R&B era (Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Beyonce). “Sucka 4 U” is the latest single from the blossoming artist that is set to make waves.

Lynita Renea – Check Mate

Lynita Renea is an independent artist who just recently released her EP CheckMate. This songstress has a sultry voice that will keep you cool on those days kicking back with your special person. My favorite track on the ep is “Stand Tall” which follows Renea’s journey looking for that particular love interest.

Sauce Walka – Dat Boy Den

Houston native Sauce Walka is a name you might have been hearing lately. From his most recent freestyle with Meek Mill and G Herbo, studio session with Busta Rhymes, or his feature on Conway The Machine single “Dangerous Daringer.” Walka’s star power has been rising due to his rap and flare. His latest offering Dat Boy Den focuses on having a good time with the ladies and appeals to his Only Fans audience.

DJ Muggs Presents – Soul Assassins 3

DJ Muggs is a name you may have heard of back in the day. Muggs is a member of the rap group Cypress Hill, and front man for his collective Soul Assassins. Known for his gritty dark beats, Muggs has influenced artist such as Alchemist, and Dilated Peoples. If you are looking for some of that 90’s hip hop sound, Soul Assassins 3: Death Valley is sure to give you a good dose of nostalgia mixed with a few continuation of the series that saw a 12 year hiatus.

Terrace Martin & James Fauntleroy – Nova

Just a few short weeks ago Terrace Martin released Curly, now he has teamed up with James Fauntleroy for a new ep titled Nova. The six song project features Robert Glasper on “Witchcraft,” and Chief Adjuah on “Like it Like That.” Just press play and enjoy the smooth sounds that abound on this project.
