I want to take a moment to say Happy Women’s History month. Throughout the history of America, women in our society have felt the systemic oppression of being overlooked and not respected. As our country moves to be more diverse and inclusive, it is equally important we do not leave the women behind.

Having worked around music nearly half my life. I have seen women behind the scenes make moves that us men were not willing to do. That experience caused me to be aware of my implicit bias and to start paying attention to those who were working around me.

Though our nation has made strides to fix the disparities amongst women, we have to be aware of surroundings. Women are important and it is time they have their space and freedom without our interference. What can we do for women, we can begin by showing our love through supporting them.

In Von’s tragic departure, his estate dropped What It Means to Be King. The 19 track project features Lil Durk, 21, Fivio Foreign, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Rich Gangsta featuring Tee Grizzley.
