
Japanese artist Gaijin Fujita recently opened a new show at L.A. Louver in Los Angeles. Titled “Made in L.A.,” the show marks Fujita’s first exhibition in Los Angeles in half a decade. A special juxtaposition of his own personal cultural heritage including ukiyo-e and contemporary manga versus the vibrant street visuals offered by the City of Angels is a central theme to his work. Special appearances by his graffiti crew K2S (Kill to Succeed) help reinforce the show’s themes as well as offering authenticity which are contrasted against beautifully intricate Japanese icons. The exhibition will run until November 12.
