If you’ve been watching HBO’s newest show, “How to Make it in America” you’ll know that the new thirty minute program is the latest from some of the minds behind the already popular “Entourage.” To cut it short, in “How to Make it in America,” two young downtown New York entrepreneurs, Ben Epstein and Cam Calderon work their creative passions and their unorthodox business backgrounds to start a denim/clothing company called Crisp NYC. Well now it seems that a few designers connected to the show will be capitalizing on the name. No information is given about who the designers are, but we did receive this exclusive preview.

From the looks of it Crisp NYC’s debut collection for the season will look to have that familiar downtown New York feel mixed with subtle progressive Japanese designs. As seen from the show, raw selvedge denim will still be the prime items available in various cuts. But in addition to their denim selections for Fall/Winter, be on the look out for buffalo check jackets, denim jackets, wool blazers, cardigans, leather jackets, varsity jackets, tees, hats, accessories and more. Crisp NYC will first be available at select New York retailers, with other shops around the States and Japan following shortly.

Also if you are still reading this. Happy April Fools Day!!!
Collection shown are really from label Plein’s 2009 collection.
