It was a packed house in the U-City Delmar Loop concert venue this past Thursday as Charli XCX and Dashboard Confessional took to the stage at theĀ Bud Light ConventionĀ Tour. The Tour started August 5th and will wrap up this Saturday August 27th w/ Big Sean and special guests in NYC. Each city the tour stops at is known as part of the Campaign Trail and it [the tour] is stomping across the country promising and delivering a great party.

The night was filled with art, music, ice cold Bud Light, and food all night long. Popular visual artists from the area showed their offerings throughout the night such as Peat Wollaeger and many others while the DJ spinned records between sets. Voting booths were arranged so party goers could vote for their favorite artists too. It was a very cool night. Ā The mixture of art and music was more intoxicating than the beer if you can believe that and the entire event was justĀ as Bud Light VP, Alex Lambrecht mentioned, “unique lineup that is sure make the campaign trail the highlight of the summer”.
