St. Louis CITY Soccer Club unveils its innovative stadium dining partners, emphasizing a fully local, community-driven culinary experience that reflects the city’s authentic spirit.
Energizer Park’s Ambitious Local Food Program
In the Moneta Pitch Club at Energizer Park, St. Louis CITY Soccer Club revealed its newest stadium dining partners for the 2026 season. The room felt electric. Chefs plating. Operators smiling. Everyone had that unmistakable look of pride. The kind of pride that comes from building something authentic and delicious. The most ambitious food program in sports is happening in St. Louis.
Notably, Energizer Park’s entirely local model continues to stand out nationally. In an industry dominated by cookie-cutter sameness, the club has created something personal. Something layered. Something So St. Louis.
Local Leadership Authenticity x Chef Gerard Craft
Chief Flavor Officer Gerard Craft passionately advocates supporting small businesses and local restaurants. At its core, the program is embedded with leadership and intention. From Chief Flavor Officer Gerard Craft, his words echoed the program’s authenticity. From Chief Flavor Officer Gerard Craft, his words echoed the program’s authenticity. “We wanted this to be a voice for small businesses,” he said. “To help them grow and reach new audiences. Seeing how far we’ve come is incredible.”
Longtime local partners like Balkan Treat Box served their signature kebabs, which were the top-selling item in the stadium last year. Matt Sebek sparked applause from the crowd as he said, “It’s pretty amazing that something that creative is the number one food item, and a Bosnian restaurant is the number one seller in a sports stadium.”
Additionally, Delux favorite Steve’s Hot Dogs will be back in the stadium as well, with TWO new menu items this year: chili fries and a chili cheese dog.
“Honestly, this is my favorite part of the job,” shares Chef Craft. “Every year, getting to introduce new partners is incredibly exciting. Four or five years ago, when we started building this, the goal was simple: lift up local restaurants from all neighborhoods across St. Louis and Illinois. We’ve achieved so much. Now, selecting new partners is the hardest part because there are so many great options.”
Pioneering Zero-Waste Stadium Dining
Energizer Park’s groundbreaking zero-waste model is redefining fan expectations and setting a national standard for sustainable stadium dining.
Four seasons in, Energizer Park remains widely regarded as one of the most progressive food programs in North America. Beyond the food, more than $7 million has gone back to local restaurants. Every vendor is local. The stadium operates as a zero-waste facility, and plates, cups, and serviceware are composted. As one of the few zero-waste models in professional sports, this approach to stadium dining is setting a new standard. Ultimately, it is redefining what fans expect from game day.
“It’s the hardest way to do food in a stadium, no doubt,” said Chief Experience Officer Matt Sebek. “Most places stick to peanuts, pretzels, and popcorn because those scale easily. But our approach is different. It’s a triple win. Great for fans, great for the club because people show up early to eat, and great for the community because we are investing directly in local businesses.”
And for 2026, the story continues.
Biscuit Town: Comfort, But Make it Modern
Without question, if one dish stole the rollout, it was Biscuit Town‘s strawberry shortcake biscuit.
The concept, created by the team behind Neon Greens, brings a playfully indulgent energy to their stadium dining menu. Their twice-baked-croissant-style biscuit is soaked in almond syrup, strawberry-dusted, generously dolloped with dairy-free whip, and finished with a generous drizzle of strawberry compote. This is refined nostalgia.
This one absolutely ate and left no crumbs.
Motor Town Pizza: Bold, Handheld Stadium Dining Made to Move
Motor Town Pizza delivers Detroit-style pies with crisp, caramelized cheesy edges alongside New York-style slices. What stands out most (besides their deliciousness) is that they travel incredibly well from concessions to seats. Their connection to Revel Kitchen speaks to their operational discipline and creative range. Because of this, restaurants succeed in a high-energy environment like Energizer Park.
This is crowd-ready food that does not sacrifice craft. At all.
Taco Buddha: Globally Inspired, So St. Louis
From University City to Kirkwood to Botanical Heights, Taco Buddha has built a loyal cult-like following for inventive tacos that draw on global flavors while remaining true to local culture.
More than that, their inclusion reinforces the club’s commitment to showcasing diverse voices across the region and walking the walk with authenticity as a long-term strategy.
Goshen Coffee: Fan Requested
Notably, one of the most significant change announcements was Goshen Coffee. Coffee was the most requested addition since opening Energizer Park.
Because of this, the East-side roaster will initially offer its premium coffee in the suites and premium spaces. They will roll out into the stadium later in the season. Goshen is well known for producing everything in-house. Pastries. Sauces. Syrups. The brand brings craftsmanship to a highly competitive category. THIS is why they were chosen to join the roster of incredible stadium dining vendors.
“I’m so excited to finally have coffee in the stadium,” shares Gerard Craft.
Fan-Driven Feedback and Evolving Experiences
More importantly, fan feedback continues to shape the stadium dining program. As a result, each match generates insights that drive change. This season brings expanded non-alcoholic options (so on trend!), allergen-friendly menus, and kid-focused meals.
Meanwhile, the club is also launching Hellcat Happy Hour, featuring early-gate specials. At the heart of it, the goal is to encourage fans to arrive earlier and settle in. Fans are coming early and treating match day like a complete experience.
And that is precisely the point.
“We look at every season like a Netflix show,” Sebek said. “Same storyline, but new characters and plotlines. Food is one of the biggest ways we keep that fresh.”
Stadium Dining the St. Louis CITY SC Way
As the event wrapped up, the plates were empty. Conversations lingered. Chefs exchanged hugs. Influencers captured content. The room felt full of warmth and hospitality.
Ultimately, at Energizer Park, food is part of the identity. The food is the reason fans show up early and stay late. And if this year’s lineup is any indication, St. Louis is just getting started.
