Nigerian performance artist Wura-Natasha Ogunji comes to St. Louis to perform her work, A tortoise walks majestically on window ledges, which explores her parents’ relationship that began in St. Louis in the 1960s.  Ogunji examines her family history, making use of family stories as well as a recently discovered collection in her father’s dream journals, which offer a 15-year archive of his daily life and dream states. A conversation with the artist will follow. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the exhibition, The Progress of Love. The event is free and open to the public.
