
Well it looks like Whitney isn’t the only one getting her story told in a big way.
The bad boy of R&B will be joining the list of entertainers who will have a biopic/movie made about him. The singer’s story will be told in a two-part miniseries called The Bobby Brown Story on BET about his life and controversial career.
A portion of the Brown’s story was told in the three-part New Edition biopic which aired in 2017 and set a record of 29 million views for the network. The biopic will display portions of his life, his rise to stardom with New Edition, his solo career, and of course, his marriage to the late Whitney Houston.
The Bobby Brown Story will be produced by Jesse Collins and written by Abdul Williams. Award-winning filmmaker, Kiel Adrian Scott directed the miniseries. The star-studded cast includes some veterans and acclaimed actors and actresses. Mekhi Phifer, Lil Rey Howery, Sandi McCree, T.K. Carter, Alyssa Goss, Lance Gross, Laz Alonso, and Woody McClain, who plays the singer.
