These things get even harder for women, but Germaine Bolds-Leftridge is an absolute powerhouse who has taken the reins into her own hands, and, on top of that, she’s a reckoning force behind multi-national brands. Germaine has offered marketing and sales services to beauty brands struggling to make their mark in the bottleneck and saturated beauty industry. Having run GBL Sales in Maryland, she brings brands into the mainstream without compromising their unique ideas and values, instead emphasizing their good ideas.
She has helped numerous brands make millions of dollars and helped women battle the early signs of aging, restore freshness and brightness to their mature skin, and aid them with their skin care needs, ranging from Mielle Organics to Oyin Handmade and Curls Dynasty. She has always tried to help everyone and was aware of how older women were left out of the equation, which is why she wanted to bring something for everyone.
She has always recognized the pain points of businesses and their target audience to design a strategic plan to ensure they stand out and reach a top position in the competition as a creative and strategic individual.
On top of everything, she has worked with a myriad of black beauty brands, which shows how impeccable and immaculate she is in her work since working with black brands demands caution. She knows the art of curating the brand message, identifying the target demographic, and presenting the brand’s competitive edge as a brand strategist and marketer to ensure that the brands get the best spot among the bottleneck competition.
To support her cause, she has launched the Ubiquitous Women’s Expo, where every woman can come and represent her brand – she always facilitates her community.
It goes without saying that Germaine started from a low point and wore the cape of a superwoman to transform her small brand and other small beauty brands into the leading market leaders. After helping small brands turn into multi-million dollar companies, she launched IKNOW Skincare, with which she is empowering every black woman out there, particularly the women after 50, to accept their bodies and revitalize themselves.
