St. Louis turned all the way up this past Saturday night as NBA YoungBoy brought his Make America Slime Again (MASA) Tour to the Enterprise Center—and the city showed out.
The Energy Was Real
After a long hiatus from St. Louis, anticipation for YoungBoy’s return was high—and he did not disappoint. Fans lined up hours before doors opened, some even camping out to be front and center for the Louisiana-born rapper’s explosive performance. Inside, the arena was packed with diehard supporters, phones lit, and lyrics shouted in unison.
The setlist included fan favorites like “Make No Sense,” “Outside Today,” “Kacey Talk,” and “Lonely Child,” but the real buzz came from his live renditions of tracks off his latest album, MASA, which dropped earlier this year.
Special Guests Brought the Heat
Opening acts DeeBaby, EBK Jaaybo, and K3 got the crowd warmed up early. Each artist held their own and hyped the crowd with high-octane performances, setting the tone for the night.
When YoungBoy finally hit the stage, the energy inside the Enterprise Center reached another level. Decked out in his signature style, he delivered a raw, emotional, and aggressive set that reflected everything fans have come to expect from him.
Performance Highlights

- YoungBoy performed “Self Control” with an extended outro, adding emotional weight to one of his more introspective tracks.
- He paused mid-set to thank his fans in St. Louis, saying, “Y’all been rockin’ with me since day one. I had to come back and give y’all this show.”
- The lighting and stage effects were noticeably upgraded compared to his earlier tours—strobe-heavy, moody, and perfectly matched to the vibe of MASA.
No Major Incidents in St. Louis—But KC Was a Different Story
While the St. Louis show went off without a hitch, news broke the next night about a troubling incident at his Kansas City stop. A juvenile was detained after allegedly assaulting an elderly T-Mobile Center employee, sparking online backlash and renewed focus on safety at hip-hop events. Thankfully, there were no such incidents reported in St. Louis as United Center in Chicago, abruptly cancels the show scheduled for Wednesday, September 24th.
Fan Reactions
Fans took to X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok to share their excitement and post clips of the show. One fan wrote:
“NBA YoungBoy just gave St. Louis the best show we’ve had all year. He snapped!”
Another called it “the most lit night of my life.”
Final Thoughts
Whether you’re a longtime YoungBoy fan or just getting into his music, Saturday night’s performance proved one thing: YoungBoy is still one of the most electrifying performers in hip-hop today. His raw intensity, emotional delivery, and unfiltered authenticity continue to resonate with fans across the country. And for St. Louis? This night will go down as one to remember.
