Recently, a mural was put up by street artist Retna on the side of the Gallery Brown in Beverly Hills, California. However, this is not the first time the 32 year old artist has left his mark in the area. The piece, like work he did on the side of the Chanel flagship store in BH, incorporates his signature style and abstract motif. This past February, Retna opened his first major show in New York City during fashion week, which garnered plenty of attention, highlighting the growing popularity and crossover of street art in a more traditional gallery setting.
