Recently had the privilege to view this film… Outside of the viewing locations technical difficulties and confusion it was a great movie. It is very evident within the first 10 mins that Bishop T.D. Jakes had his hands in this film. It’s a story of how a couple that come from 2 completely different worlds plan to join as one, all while introductions are made and of course this couple is placed in the middle. Jumping The Broom has an all-star cast from big screen vets Loretta Devine & Angela Bassett to the comedic antics of Mike Epps & Tasha Smith (Tyler Perry’s: Why Did I Get Married) this is star studded down to the chef. If you need eye candy no worries, ladies they have Pooch Hall & Laz Alonso and fellas you have Paula Patton (Robin Thicke’s Wife) & Meagan Good. A true romantic comedy perfect for a first date (yes fellas I said first), a date night, or ladies night out. Each of the cast members shine in this film. There are so many twists and turns as the plot thickens. Unlike most films you can’t predict the ending or whats going to happen next. SN: Lil’ Romeo isn’t Lil’ anymore… Ladies he is legal now and in this film you will be pleased with the evolution & growth he has made. This film isn’t set to be released until May 6th (Mother’s Day), but I do suggest you mark your calendars in anticipation of this summer blockbuster.
I definitely say YAY. Check out the trailer below.

I know what they were going through in this movie.
I went through a little something like them myself, but we pulled it together and got through it without a scratch or bruise, and it turned out ok
Movies are always the best when you can relate to them…
