
Building Your Fitness Empire

We all know that Wednesday nights are now known as Empire Wednesday’s. While you are watching Cookie and the gang, you can also be building your fitness empire by incorporating a workout during your favorite show. An hour workout is only 4% of your day, and working out during your favorite show is only 2%. Incorporating a workout into your routine of watching television will allow you to make fitness part of your lifestyle. Listed below are five sets of exercises that you can do during the commercial break of your favorite show that will allow you to build your fitness empire.
Equipment Needed:
- Weights
- If you don’t have weight’s you can use can goods
- Small Space to workout
Directions: Complete each set during the commercial break and repeat each set until the commercial break is over. Remember that it’s okay to take a break if needed, but start again once you have caught your breath. Once you have completed set five, start over at set number one.
Commercial Break One: Squats and Alternating Lunges
- One Squat, Right Leg Lunge
- One Squat, Left Leg Lunge
Repeat until the commercial is over
Commercial Break Two: Mountain Climbers and Push Ups
- 10 Mountain Climbers
- 5 Pushups
Repeat until commercial is over
Commercial Break Three: Burpee’s and High knees
- One Burpee
- 20 High Knees
Repeat until commercial is over
Commercial Break Four: Bicycle crunches and Leg Raises
- 5 Bicycle Crunches
- 5 Leg Raises (Modify the leg raises by putting your hands under your butt)
Repeat until the commercial break is over
Commercial Break Five: Bicep Curls and Shoulder Presses
- 5 Bicep Curls
- 5 Shoulder Presses
Repeat until the commercial break is over
There you have it, five sets of exercises that will allow you to build your fitness empire. The great thing about the workout is that anyone can do it, you get to do it in the comfort of your own home and it’s free.
